BIRTH: I was born in Washington, D.C. before astronauts visited the moon, color television and personal computers. I was one of five children, the middle (of course), in a poor but very loving family. |

TRAVEL: I have been fortunate to travel to many of the world's most beautiful places and to meet some of the world's most interesting people. I have visited: Scotland, England, Morocco, Spain, Portugal, Greece and the Grecian Islands of the Aegean Sea, Turkey, Egypt, South Africa, Belize, Costa Rico, Mexico, and many distant areas of the United States, such as Alaska and Hawaii. Want Proof? Check out this picture of me on a Camel in Egypt! You better know which is me and which is the camel!

HOBBIES: My spare time, when I am not working or going to school, is devoted to ART! My specific interest now is Mosaics. I am a member of the Society of American Mosaic Artist . I also have several mosaics at a fine Art Gallery, Sunset River Gallery, in Calabash, N. C. The most exciting thing at present, however, is that I will be attending a two-week workshop at Orsoni's in Venice, Italy, June 2006. I will earn my Master in Mosaic Certificate. |

FAMILY: I am lucky to have a wonderful, supportive husband of twenty-five years, who still is my best friend. Three children share my heart, two who were adopted from India, and the third adopted from South Carolina who is mentally challenged. My daughter has given me two very bright and loving grandchildren, and I am thoroughly enjoying every aspect of grand-parenting. |
